Coinbin – is an open-source web wallet written in JavaScript and released under the MIT license, which means it can be used and edited for free.
The website coinb.in is presented exclusively in English; alternative language versions are currently unavailable. The visual design of the homepage can be assessed in the screenshot below.
At the bottom of the resource, there is a link to the GitHub open-source repository. It contains a document confirming the presence of the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology License) license.
What currencies does Coinbin support
The functionality of the Coinbin wallet provides support for a limited list of cryptocurrencies. Users can perform operations only with basic coins:
- Bitcoin (BTC);
- Dogecoin (DOGE);
- Litecoin (LTC).
To transfer cryptocurrency into the Coinbin wallet, it is necessary to generate an address, after which funds should be sent to this address from another cryptocurrency wallet or exchange.
Cryptocurrency wallet coinb.in characteristics
The service is positioned as a secure and transparent solution for storing cryptocurrencies, achieved through open-source code and local key generation, allowing users to independently control their assets. Additional emphasis is placed on privacy: data is not collected or stored on servers. However, the platform is primarily aimed at technically savvy users, as its functionality requires a certain level of preparation. The absence of a mobile application also limits the convenience of managing funds from mobile devices.
Reviews about the Coinbin cryptocurrency wallet
User reviews on the internet are mostly neutral or positive. The main remarks concern the high entry threshold with relatively simple functionality, as well as the anonymity of the development team. Users with experience using this wallet note that the drawbacks are fully compensated by the ability to have complete control over their own funds.
Conclusions about coinb.in
This cryptocurrency wallet has been on the market for many years, but its functionality is primarily aimed at experienced users, making it difficult to use effectively without a certain level of experience. The absence of a mobile application is also a significant inconvenience.
Moreover, the service supports only a limited number of cryptocurrencies, which limits the possibilities for traders. High platform stability cannot always be relied on, and losing keys will result in the inability to access both the wallet and the funds stored on it. Considering all these features, it is worth studying reviews about Coinbin before using it.

I like this wallet. It may be covered in dust and smell of age, but damn... it has never let me down. Not once have I been dissatisfied with it, and it's a bit scary to part with it. Although all the reviews on any platform literally say "change it quickly." I disagree with that. Even in 2025, it can be used more than conveniently. Although, to each their own, I suppose. It can be confidently said that among similar projects, it is definitely in the top 5.
